Why do we hate perfection?

The New England Patriots are 2 games away from being perfect in one season in the NFL since 1972. It seems like 9 out of 10 people do not want them to reach the milestone. Why are so many people against this from occurring?

Is it because:

- the Patriots were caught cheating in the first game of the season, and there is something wrong about a cheater not losing a single game all season?

- Quarterback Tom Brady is America's favorite un-wed father or because he went to Michigan?

- the Patriots have been the best team over the last 6 years? Would we be this passionate if the Vikings or the 49ers were about to go undefeated?

- Rodney Harrison just portrays smugness and is one of the dirtiest players in the NFL?

- everyone has to pull for the underdog, and the Patriots are never the underdog?

- they would have lost to the Ravens besides a timeout call and a phantom penalty?

- they should have lost to the Colts, and the Eagles (yes the Eagles with AJ Feeley as quarterback) could have beat them?

- the Giants should have beat them (if only the game ended after 3 quarters)?

- the score meaningless touchdowns to run up the score? Really, they beat the Redskins 52-7 and the Bills 56-10.

- the city of Boston is good at everything right now and that needs to stop?

- Who really likes Randy Moss anyways? (Unless he is on your fantasy team)

- Bill Belichick wears stupid sweaters?

Pick your reason, everyone hates the Patriots. Go Chargers.
